A: I don’t agree with mandatory sentencing.
Q: Do you support alternative sentencing?
A: I absolutely believe in alternative sentencing for non violent criminals and drug and alcohol programs and bracelet alternatives to jail.
A: I am opposed to the death penalty.
Q: On what grounds? How would you reduce capital punishment in states like TX and OK?
A: I am a firm believer in restoring states’ rights and have to balance this conviction with my strong opposition to the death penalty.
